2014 saw the high-profile, $30 million refurbishment of the iconic Blue Mountains’ hotel, the Hydro Majestic by Christopher Reeve Design (CRD). The right paint colours and finishes were a vital component to the success of the project.

The 1.27 km facade of the Hydro Majestic features ‘Hydro Ivory’ developed by Murobond. Acclaimed as ‘the perfect white’ by the general public, Hydro Ivory resonates beautifully against both blue-sky and misty grey backdrops and is not too glary in bright sunlight. “Well done, Murobond, and thank you for helping bring this famous ‘Old Dame’ back to life in living colour with absolute style,” adds Peter.
