Preston House , St Ives 1992
Built in the early 90’s the Preston house took its colour cues from the established Angophoras on the property: a pale pink orange painted in Cement Paint providing a sympathetic finish for the leafy and rock surrounds. The light absorbing quality of cement paint allows the colour to read differently in different aspects , at different times of the day .
The Preston house has recently had a repaint some 30 years after it was built. A testament to the longevity of Murobond Cement Paint.
