Heritage Site Visit – Hobart Gasworks – Cement Paint

Cement paint is breathable when applied to bare masonry however it was
decided to leave the existing paint intact in this situation and apply the 3
coat system comprising of 1 coat Murobond primer and 2 finish coats of
Cement paint.
Cement paint is highly UV resistant and known for long life. The Gasworks
were painted in 1984 and still the original paint.
